3/20/2024: “I’m deeply honored to be representing Rhode Island at the national stage and also become part of this very important legacy especially for young women,” Evers said at the event.
According to the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council, Evers is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, and she has been an active member in her community by advocating for education and volunteering with nonprofits. She has been recognized with several leadership awards, including the RI Congressional Leadership Award and the Rhode Island Secretary of State Civil Leadership Award, the council said.
