PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WJAR) — In the last few months, we flipped the switch from extreme drought to periods of heavy rainfall, and that has had a major impact on our foliage season.
The rain came just in time in September for trees to get healthy, and it has delayed the progression of color and led to a longer stretch of nice color. The rain has also led to more vibrant-than-expected color, which is also great news for tourism in the Blackstone Valley. More
